About me
Hi, I'm Raj Vardhan Tomar, a B. Tech graduate from Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi, India, majored in Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation. My work primarily focuses on Artificial Intelligence, software development, and software management. Currently, I'm collaborating with the NLP Research Group under the supervision of Prof. Preslav Nakov and Dr. Yuxia Wang at MBZUAI, where we're working on a project focusing on the safety and security of Large Reasoning Models and the work has been submitted to ARR July 2025. We also worked on detecting machine-generated content. Our work has been accepted at EMNLP 2024.
My journey has taken me through both corporate and research settings. I started with an internship at an Ed-Tech startup, Beyond Exams, then transitioned to bioinformatics research, which led to a publication in the Epilepsy Research journal by Elsevier. Afterward, I worked with the Canada-based startup Soluperts before returning to research at the Design Innovation Centre. Two of my recent research projects have been transformed into products, which brings me immense satisfaction—knowing that people can use and experience our work firsthand.
